Marjorie Schneider - A Wonderful Person
Marjorie Schneider biography After obtaining her higher education in education, Marjorie Schneider rose to international recognition as an expert in the fine arts and then combined those fields over the half century that followed: living a life of social service and social enterprise, and providing a helping hand and open heart to all in need. Recognizing that the fine arts represent humanity’s highest cultural achievements, and that education is the means for inspiring future generations to attain those heights, Marjorie Schneider has undertaken as her life’s work the sharing of the finest creations of mankind.

Early Life- During the past half century, Schneider has worked closely with the world’s finest collectors through her flagship office and art gallery: Marjorie Schneider Antiquary based in Philadelphia’s Main Line – America’s original capital and most historic region. Closely coordinating her work on designing people’s lives to the highest standards, during this time Marjorie Schneider also has developed a landscape architecture firm: Marjorie Schneider Nurseries, so that these organizations can work hand-in-hand to bring joy and beauty into people’s lives. Thanks to decade upon decade of hard work and dedication to improving the lives of others, Marjorie Schneider’s interior and exterior design work can now to be found in not only Pennsylvania, but across the country in Ohio, New York and California – as well as overseas in places as diverse as China, England, and Russia.

Marjorie Schneider’s activities bringing joy and beauty into the world go far beyond these two organizations, though. With the help of participation of her children – Susan Schneider MD, a globally respected physician and scientist, and Kenneth Schneider, a renowned international attorney and financial wizard – Marjorie Schneider also has given life to one of the world’s most extraordinary philanthropic organizations: The Apogee Foundation.

Dedicated to nothing less than the discovery, development and celebration of human creative excellence at its highest levels, The Apogee Foundation has become a leader in developing human potential worldwide. Having had the benefit of Marjorie Schneider and her husband Bernard Schneider MD – a revered physician and a leader in the field of health care – as the Foundation’s inaugural directors and inspirations, it’s not hard to imagine why Apogee has experienced a spectacular record of success around the world.

It seems that Marjorie Schneider and her family have been blessed with some form of profound enlightenment and a miraculous good will enabling them to appreciate the needs and the potential of others – and to fulfill both simultaneously. As a result, Marjorie Schneider’s good wishes for mankind have become The Apogee Foundation’s most important assets – just as they have become the most valued asset of everyone who knows her. With future generations now hopefully following in Marjorie Schneider’s footsteps, we are witnessing the creation of a historic legacy for a great spirit: a world where we all live up to the power of our highest potential.
